Chemistry Lesson Plans Week of April 13th

Chemistry Lesson Plans Week of April 13th

Monday:
Al COS: 6.) Solve stoichiometric problems involving relationships among the number of particles, moles, and masses of reactants and products in a chemical reaction.

In class: Students will begin to now consider the quantities of chemical reactions, as well as their qualities.   They have been successfully writing balanced equations and classifying the equation. We will review this and take a quiz on this Tuesday.  Then begin the next lesson...The goal of this lesson is to begin looking at stoichiometry—or the quantities pertaining to a chemical reaction.

Homework: study notes

Tuesday:
Al COS: 6.) Solve stoichiometric problems involving relationships among the number of particles, moles, and masses of reactants and products in a chemical reaction.
IN class:  Students will take a quiz writing balanced equations and classifying the type of reaction, and afterwards,   students will focus on the stoichiometry of chemical reactions.
Homework: study notes (advanced....practice problems for homework)

Wednesday- Friday:
Al COS: 6.) Solve stoichiometric problems involving relationships among the number of particles, moles, and masses of reactants and products in a chemical reaction.
IN class:  Students will focus on the stoichiometry of chemical reactions. Friday, we will do a prelab to prepare for our stoichiometry lab on Monday.
Homework: study notes
